Acqua Marcia began its adventure in the tourism sector in 1998 through its subsidiary Acqua Marcia Turiso (AMT)
AMT owns today six major historical villas/properties in Sicily, thanks to which is able to offer a truly unique experience to its guests; Grand Hotel Villa Igiea , Grand Hotel et des Palmes and Excelsior Hilton Hotel in Palermo, San Domenico Palace Hotel in Taormina, the Excelsior Grand Hotel in Catania and Grand Hotel des Etrangers et SPA in Ortigia (Siracusa).
In Venice, on the Giudecca canal AMT has promoted the recovery of the industrial complex of the Molino Stucky, now the largest five-star hotel in the lagoon, with a large convention center with a capacity of 2000 people
The hotels in Palermo and the Molino Stucky can boast a quality service of the highest level thanks also to the agreement of partnership in place with Hilton for the Excelsior Hilton, and thanks to the Hilton management at the Molino Stucky.
Also the capital is among the projects of the Group, finishing an hotel dedicated to business tourism and convention on Via Giustiniano Imperatore.
The Group also owns 2 golf courses, one “ the Nettuno Golf” near the sea , no far from the capital, the other "the Country Golf Croara" a beautiful 18 hole par 72 designed and projected by arch. Croze e Buratti, immersed in Val Trebio, close to Piacenza.
